I’ve been using the Yoreganics oxygen bleach for a year now and absolutely love it! A spray bottle of their stain remover has been sitting next to the Yoreganics bag of oxygen bleach yet I’ve never thought to touch it. Last weekend my husband brought me his winter coat and asked if I had anything that would remove the “ring” around the collar of the coat. The coat was disgusting. He’s had the coat for a decade and never thought to wash it. And I have to admit I never thought about washing either. It’s reversible and the inside is a very light grey. The coat had a terrible “ring around the collar” and when I looked at it – I thought nothing could take it out. Then I remembered the bottle of stain remover Kim from Yoreganics sent me. I figured my husband’s coat was the perfect test.
So with any stain, I always wet the area with water first. Just a spritz with a spray bottle will get the area ready for the stain remover. Then I sprayed the entire collar with the Yoreganics stain remove and as soon as I did you could see it starting to break up the stain.
I used a small brush and with a circular motion, worked the stain remover into to the stain. As you can see, the Yoreganics stain remover is really working on the dirt and buildup.
I let the coat sit for about an hour and then put it into to washing machine. I added a simple soap and washed it in the regular cycle. When it was done I didn’t put the coat into the dryer – but let it air dry so I could make sure the stain was entirely gone.
Look at how clean the coat came out! This is a reversible coat and now my husband can wear it on either side since the Yorganics stain remover took out all the oily buildup. Yoreganics stain remover is now one of my favorites! You can purchase the Yoreganics stain remover at www.shopgreencleaning.com . It might seem a little pricey at $14.99, but if it rescues a $200 coat and a few more items in my wardrobe – it’s worth it.
