In my household it’s not uncommon to find towels laying on the floors of my kid’s rooms. And sometimes putting them in a load in the washing machine isn’t enough to get the mildew smell out. If you have this problem in your home, here’s a quick trick that I use to clean my towels and have them smelling just like new.
Wash your towels in hot water with a cup of vinegar, then run again in hot water with a half-cup of baking soda. That will strip your towels from all of that residue & mildew smell & will actually leave them feeling fluffy & smelling fresh. This really works! courtesy – pinterest
And if you don’t like the smell of vinegar, click here for a scented vinegar. Laundress makes a lovely scented vinegar that you will enjoy in your laundry. You can shop for it at www.shopgreencleaning.com
