Janet Morgenstern Passani is a brand marketing expert specializing in launching and growing healthy, natural lifestyle products and services. She owns her own company called Jute Marketing. As a strategic marketer with a creative twist, she has led marketing departments and worked with major U.S. and international companies including Stride Rite footwear, Smartfood popcorn (which was bought by PepsiCo) and Nelsons Bach (makers of Rescue Remedy based in UK). She is founder of Jute Marketing and brings over 20 years of marketing experience to help clients grow their brand with strategic thinking and fresh ideas. Janet has worked with food, natural beauty, home, apparel and lifestyle products and initiatives. One of her newest clients is Natural Food Exchange on the north shore in Boston, which is 100% Non-GMO.
She is also the founder of BostonEco, an online and networking community on a mission to further healthy, sustainable living in Boston and beyond. BostonEco launched in 2009, and one of their best events was having over 100 people come together to watch the film, The Story Of Cosmetics, and listen to Mia Davis from the Campaign f9r Safe Cosmetics. The BostonEco group consists of mission driven entrepreneurs, healthy living experts, natural foodies, green businesses and organizations, sustainability leaders, local pioneers and community do-gooders.
BostonEco started with connections from Janet’s social network who decided they wanted to meet each other in person. Since then the group has grown to over 800 on Facebook and is very active on twitter and instagram too.
